In Excel Maths Early Skills: Patterns, Sorting and Matching, your child will learn the skills they need before learning to count and write numbers.  These skills include seeing patterns, sorting items into groups and matching up items.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Learning Numbers to 5, your child will learn to count from 1 to 5, sort things into groups, make patterns, match up numbers to groups of objects and write the numbers 1 to 5.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: First Shapes and Measurement, your child will learn to compare two or more objects by size, shape and position. They will learn to recognise and draw a range of shapes and objects, make patterns and identify the correct order of events in a basic sequence.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Learning Numbers to 10, your child will learn to write the numbers 6 to 10, and identify, count and draw groups of each number from 6 to 10.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Add and Take Away to 10, your child will practise counting and writing numbers 1 to 10, and learn to add and subtract object.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Second Shapes and Measurement, your child will build on their skills in shapes and measurement and further develop their ability to compare two or more objects by size, shape and position. They will draw a range of shapes and objects, make patterns and identify the correct order of events in a sequence.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Learning Numbers to 20, your child will revise counting and writing numbers 1 to 9, then focus on numbers 10 to 20.  They will practise counting, writing and making groups of numbers to 20, and learn to match up the correct numerals with various groups of objects.

In Excel Maths Early Skills: Add and Take Away to 20, your child will practise counting and writing numbers up to 20, and learn to add and subtract objects up to a total of 20. Each double page allows your child to practise one particular skill many times so that the skill is reinforced.
