NSW Targeting Maths New Edition program:
Fully-integrated problem-solving program The New Edition of NSW Targeting maths is the only primary maths text that includes an integrated problem solving program that actively builds your students' abilities to think mathematically, solve problems and communicate their answers in a variety of ways. We have integrated problem solving into each topic. In this way, students apply the skills they have recently learnt to solve one of a range of really good problems. Regular experience in completing multiple choice questions helps children to understand and feel comfortable with this format. Year 1 and Kindergarten revision pages appear in a format suitable to their age and experience.
In-stage topic alignment for composite classes The new edition of Targeting Maths is great for composite classes too. The contents of year level books in one stage, eg Year 1 and Year 2, match topic by topic, making teaching composite classes much easier.

Interactive whiteboard activities for front-of-class teaching - Rainforest Maths The suite of interactive maths activities that make up Rainforest Maths are an invaluable resource for teaching and learning a wide variety of maths concepts. Excellent for both front-of-class teaching and individual computers, each activity can be used to model, explore and investigate a different maths concept. Each Targeting Maths Teaching Guide includes the complete Rainforest maths CD-ROM for that level. The Targeting Maths Teaching Guides cross-reference each topic of work to the matching Rainforest maths interactive activity.
NSW Targeting Maths Teaching Guide These fully revised full-colour Teaching Guides come with 2 CD-ROMS of interactive activities. One CD-ROM contains an interactive version of the student book. This can be used on computers or on an Interactive Whiteboard (IWB). The second CD-ROM has the complete Year level version of Rainforest Maths. both CD-ROMs can be loaded onto networks for use by the whole year level at your school.
NSW Targeting Maths Assessment Program Year Level Assessment books target all maths topics including problem solving. With each of the graded assessments, you can quickly and easily assess the mathematical understandings of your students. All answers are provided. The accompanying CD-ROM includes all assessments in digital form. Topic based assessments include sections that test skills at three levels of understanding - basic, sound and high. These are highly useful when grading reports, for adding into student portfolios and for use in parent-teacher conferences. Each book also contains many useful work sheets and task cards.
