Nancy P. Sibtain has a variety of interests and has had a variety of occupations. She has written two poetry books and a biography, has taught English in secondary schools and has been a books and magazines editor. At present she works for several publishers as a freelance book indexer and writes weekly crosswords, both cryptic and quick, for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers. She loves writing crosswords and puzzles for children and particularly enjoys those with a mathematical twist.
