| This book is a study guide to first year University biology, not an exhaustive text book on the subject. It examines some of the most fundamental and traditionally difficult areas of biology in such a way as to make them easy to understand and simple to remember. In doing so, it will hopefully also make biology interesting and even fun.
It assumes no previous knowledge of biology. It is designed so that students proceed at their own pace with plenty of examples. The language used us straight-forward and 'student friendly'.
There are hundreds of practice questions all of which have answers provided. We've worked hard to produce a book that will help you make the best of your limited study time.
